Franck Muller Watches: How it all began

Frank Muller, the founder and former CEO of the brand, began learning about watches at the age of 15. He joined a watchmaking school in the early 1980s and started working in the watch industry in 1983. He quickly picked up excellent skills and in 1984, he designed his own tourbillon wristwatch. Notably, in the 1980s, there were only a few companies that had the capability to design such complications and those included Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin.

Muller quickly gathered his private clientele. In 1992, Franck Muller, alongside Vartan Sirmakes founded the watchmaking company, The House of Franck Muller.
